MSA Setup Form

File provides the ability open a new file, Save or Print the output, access the Data Editor, or return to the Main Form.
Edit provides ability to Copy the grid selection, or Select the entire grid with headings. Font size in the grids can be increased or decreased. Column widths may be minimized for greater column display.
Help provides access to this Website.

Speed Buttons

These buttons provide quick access to the following tasks.

Returns to the last Form or the Main Form.
Opens a Data File.
Displays the Data Editor.
Saves the output to a file.
Prints the Text grid.
Copies Selection to the clipboard.
Brings up crosstabs (Useful for Nominal Analysis).
Brings up the Main Form.
Brings up this Help file.
Hides the form.

Decimal Place Change

Changes the number of decimal places, from 0 to 9. Change may be made by selecting and typing in the number, or by using the incrementing buttons.

Confidence Level

The confidence level used in calculations may be entered here. The value is expressed in percent. The confidence level may be changed by selecting and typing in the level, or by using a drop-down selection.

Setup Tab

This is the tab used to set up the Measurement Systems Analysis. Clicking on the other tabs performs the calculations.

Item Analysis Tab

Click this tab to see item-by-item analysis results. The tabs are dynamic, so clicking on the tabs processes the setup.

System Analysis Tab

Click this tab to see the Measurement Systems Analysis Report. The tabs are dynamic, so clicking on the tabs processes the setup.

Data Variables

These are the Data Variables, found in the Data Editor, which may be used in analysis.

Select Data Variables

Click this to move one or more variables into the analysis. The data will move to the Appraiser selected. The first variable will be the first measure, and the second variable will be the second measure, etc.

Deselect Data Variables

Click this to remove variables from analysis.

Appraisers

The appraisers are displayed here. The appraiser name comes from the name of the first variable or the title entered in the Descriptions Tab of the Data Editor.

Measures

The variables selected as measures will be shown here.

Appraiser Count Selection

Change this to select the number of appraisers. This should be done before you select data for analysis.

Data Level

Use this to select either a nominal analysis or an interval/ration level analysis.

Calculation Method

For interval/ratio data, select whether to use the Range or Standard Deviation in the calculations.

Set Standard

This allows you to set a "Standard" for calibration or concordance with standard analysis. The standard is entered as an appraiser. When you click this button, the "appraiser" is set to "standard."

Specifications

Enter your specifications here. You may enter specification limits or simply the range.

Reset

Click this to reset your setup.
