Control Chart - Point Information Tab
This tab, selected from the Control Chart Information Form, outputs information about each point. The following grid will be displayed.
Point Number
The sample number is displayed in this column.
Sample Size
This sample size, "n" is displayed in this column.
Location Statistic
The location statistic for each sample is displayed in this column. This will be displayed in green unless a viololation of the Control Tests are Found and then it will be displayed in yellow.
Location Limits and Centerline
The Control Limits and Centerline for the Location statistics are displayed in these columns.
Control Test Codes
The Control Tests Results for each point is displayed here. The following codes are used.
- O: Point outside the limits
- R: Run (8 points above or below the centerline)
- T: Trend (6 points increasing/decreasing)
- L: Lack of Variability (15 within one standard error)
- E: Excess Variability (8 outside one standard errors)
- A: Alternating Values (14 points alternating up/down)
- M: Excessive Moving Range (Outside limits on MR chart)
- 1: Zone 1 Rule (4 out of 5 outside one standard error)
- 2: Zone 2 Rule (2 out of 3 outside two standard errors)
Dispersion Statistic
The Dispersion statistic for each sample is displayed in this column. This will be displayed in green unless a viololation of the Control Tests are Found and then it will be displayed in yellow.
Dispersion Limits and Centerline
The Control Limits and Centerline for the Dispersion statistics are displayed in these columns.
Control Test Codes
